What’s Different About WriteStrategy?
My unique blend of marketing and PR expertise combined with strategic writing skills has proven to be a very powerful combination — giving me an edge over most writers. I create copy that delivers results. I have successfully written for a vast range of different markets. From pro athletes to attorneys… consumer products to a worldwide television network— there is no market I cannot successfully pitch. I can effectively walk in anyone’s shoes, knowing what makes them tick and what makes them respond.

THE BEGINNING
My career started over a decade ago in Silicon Valley during the “dotcom era” when I specialized in product launching (getting my clients and products mass media attention and worldwide hype). Owning my own PR Firm Media Perspectives, I worked closely with such companies as Compaq, Microsoft, Handspring and AMD and became so good at getting my clients attention and hype —many companies sought me out to do likewise for their company.

I credit most of my success with being able to write killer press releases that positioned my client’s products and services in such a way that the world grabbed onto them. This is where I first saw how incredibly important “positioning” and “messaging “ is for a company’s success. It will make or break a business.

Since that day, my work has appeared in magazines and publications worldwide and my TV scripts have aired on nationwide television. I spent time as a full-time copywriter for a large television broadcasting network and later when on to start WriteStrategy … focusing on the art of strategic, persuasive copywriting.

THE PASSION FOR PERSUASION
In all I have done … my greatest passion and expertise is in the art of strategy and persuasion. It’s in my blood, and I can’t seem to get enough of working on projects that require this expertise.

I have a strong passion for empowering and educating entrepreneurs to succeed. I have done so through starting and leading three very successful entrepreneur and business organizations including Charlotte Entrepreneurs Organization, Raleigh Entrepreneurs Organization and Raleigh Small Business Owners Organization.

I currently run the Small Business Training Center in Holly Springs, NC.
